Ms. Waters: Socia. . .. Government Take Over

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqFIb0uVZrs

Congressman Waters in open committee would support social. . . er letting government take over the oil companies?

This is outrageous!

I cannot believe that Congresswoman  Maxine Waters gets away with such foolish commentary, and in open committee, on national television.

Do people have the faintest idea how dangerous nationalizing the oil companies would be to our economy? To our competitiveness in the global  market?

Nationalizing anything -- look at what's going in Mexico, where corruption is as prevalent as the air a man breathes. Consider the "noble" example of Hugo Chavez in Venezuela, where nationalizing oil, milk, and other resources has created rationing, shortages, limited markets. I do not understand why people keep ignoring economic realities on these issues. Putting the federal government in charge of anything has done nothing but create more waste, fraud, loss, and still has done nothing to solve the problems of gas, water, or other resources.

The notion that a politician in Washington would even thing of pushing for state power on petroleum is just --- ludicrous!

The truth will out --- Waters must be out in 2014!

"Go To Hell": Maxine Waters vs. Paul LePage

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqFIb0uVZrs

Congresswoman Maxine Waters of California: "I think the Tea Party should go straight to hell!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svoKsej0Cuk

Governor Paul LePage of Maine: "You are going to see a lot of headlines saying: 'Governor LePage says to President: "Obama, Go to Hell" ' ".

What is the difference between the two?

The rhetoric is heated, no question about it.

The use of profanity from our public officials is unacceptable.

Yet Governor Paul LePage got a lot of heat from the media in his home state, while Maxine Waters got softballs from the national media markets.

Congresswoman Waters holds a federal office, so naturally she would get more attention from national markets.

However, because LePage is white, and Waters is black, she gets the easy pat-on-the-back, while Governor LePage gets hell for saying "hell".

I do not condone our politicians using foul language -- it's a distraction.

Still, the double standard of shaming the "white man" and bypassing the "black man" is a rank offense to our politicians and our citizens.

We should honor every member of our Congress, as well as every governor in the union, and we should expect them to honor their office and their constituents. But this black-white double standard must stop.

Waters: Putting Taxpayers in the Back of the Bus

I do not use this metaphor as a point of shame, but I am tired of the double-standard which permits black politicians to say whatever they want to, but then demagogues a politician, a pollster, and pundit, or any other person from speaking the truth on matters.

Even reporters have chided Joe Biden for "articulate" when he described President Barack Obama.

Indeed, President Barack Obama is articulate, enough that Democrat turned Republican Artur Davis applauded the president's resounding rhetoric! He admitted that he was fooled, but no longer. David, a Southern Democrat, has witnessed the Democratic party leave him, just as it left Ronald Reagan.

I would say that black politicians have done much in the past to help all voters. I loved J.C. Watts stand up for voters in Oklahoma, and he was an outspoken supporter of Newt Gingrich, which took a lot of guts, considering the track record which the formed House Speaker had in Congress and in his private life.

I applaud Allen West of Florida, who commands a great deal of respect and refused to be defined solely by his color. He is a proud veteran, and we need more legislators like him, who understand that limited government is good government, and nothing more is needed. Then there is Mia Love, who is running as the first African-American woman looking to unseat an incumbent Democrat in Mormon-conservative Utah. I am very excited for her!

The Democratic Party used to be "The White Man's Party".

Sadly, in many ways it still remains "The White Man's Party" -- how many people of non-European descent spoke at the DNC last month? The highlighted diversity in the RNC rivals the Democratic party, yet the Mainstream Media refuses to acknowledge this trend. How many black voters has Barack Obama reached out to in the past few months? I

The "colored glasses" which have pasted the Republicans as "The Rich, Old, White Guys' Party" has fallen apart, yet the elites in universities and newspaper editorial boards refused to recognize the fact.

My intent is nothing more than to arrest attention to the terrible trends from the Democratic Party toward "minority voters", many of whom have been fed a bill of good which tells them that the government cares for them and wants only the best.

Just one perusal through Losing Ground, and long-time voters for the DNC will flee, and the party will lose the ground which it never should have had in the first place!

Maxine Waters has used race against her race -- she helps put taxpayers at the back of the bus. Black, white, Hispanic, there is no reason why more people should be paying taxes which fund nothing but defunct policies, and why are we treating people who are down on their lack as if they are completely incapable of getting ahead in life?

Government has not helped one person get out of dependency to revel in the independence which men and women are endowed by right to receive.

Maxine Waters does not seem to care. Does she not recognize the poverty and the criminality in her own 35th and now 43rd District? Does she have no respect whatsoever for the youth who do not see their own parents grow up into a thriving adulthood?! Photo-ops and demonizing "The Tea Party" will not help voters who are looking for work, not just a handout.

Come to think of it, I fear that Maxine Waters is putting all her voters in the back of the bus!

Maxine Waters: Hiding Behind the Race Card

Waters: No Dignity
Like many black politicians, Maxine Waters has coasted on her color to get reelected term after term.

Only this past year did Maxine Waters begin demanding that President Obama do more for the black communities in the South Los Angeles/Inglewood regions.

Sadly, this move will not move a president who really does not care about black people.

Come to think of it, most black politicians really do not care about black voters.

African-Americans, like every other constituency in this country, in this state, deserve respect from their leaders. I have yet to see the politicians who claim that they represent their race do real and lasting good for the ethnic minorities in their districts.

Maxine Waters may give out hand-shakes and applaud young people for the pictures that they make. The "Herald Publications" apparatus has headlighted her appearance and forays into the public.

But what has she done, beyond show up and take pictures? How can she stand with a president who has done nothing but dump money on failed industries and paying of political pals, while the official unemployment rate for African-Americans is at least five points above the national average? And that is not counting the number of people under-employed or who have given up looking for work.

Maxine Waters has attacked free enterprise, free markets, and free people. When will people open up their eyes and realize that this queen is wearing no clothes?

She can claim her color all she wants, but she does not really care about black people, either, except on election day, when she wants their vote.

Inglewood, Athens, South Los Angeles, Lennox, Lawndale, Hawthorne: they all deserve better than a politician who looks at every election as a coronation for a queen.

End the Reign of Queen Maxine! Vote for Bob Flores for the 43rd!

Maxine Waters Under Investigation

"She [Congresswoman Maxine Waters] said she did try to help an association of minority-owned banks, which included OneUnited. They were in trouble partly because of their investments in troubled mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac." -- AP, Jun 5, 2012

For nearly three years, Congresswoman Maxine Waters has been under investigation for improperly steering TARP funds to OneUnited Bank. Recently, a newly impaneled selection of legislators for the House Ethics Committee has ruled that her rights were not infringed during the course of the investigation.

I am amazed that this legislator has been permitted to stall her ongoing improprieties intermixed with the Housing Crisis and the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) initiated in 2008. Sometimes, one gets the untimely impression that minority legislators get undue mercy just because other Congressmen are afraid of the "race card".

TARP was a bad idea from the start, but the South Bay Democrat's efforts to assist either one bank or an association of banks at the expense of the entire financial system is just reprehensible altogether.
When she is not shouting at a crowd of underemployed constituents that "the Tea Party should go straight to hell," she is expanding and micromanaging the role of the federal government in the financial sector of this country. Her economic policies are failing California voters. The interventions of stimulus dollars, excessive regulations, and medical insurance mandates, all supported by Waters at the outset of Obama's term in office, have made things worse for South Bay residents. Her deceiving and insulting rhetoric is dissuading segments of this country from embracing the free market reforms that will instill reform without harming individual liberty.

The reign of Queen Maxine must come to an end. The pandering of federal officials to minority voters must stop. The state of California no longer has a majority population by race, and the entire country is witnessing a significant and welcome shift in demographics, in which "minority" births are now the majority.

Even if Waters did not improperly tip her hand to send a $12 million bailout to her husband's bank, her overzealous efforts on behalf of "minority" banks is a crass anachronism of statist overreach which must be scrapped.

If this country's legislators want to do well by all citizens, they must remove from any favoritism in disbursing financial aid to hurting citizens (why not end the exorbitant welfare state altogether?), end the costly and wasteful drain of taxpayer dollars on shoring up failing banks and other private institutions, and demand full and prompt accountability from all of our Congressional representatives, no matter what their race, creed, or color.

End the Reign of Queen Maxine

Maxine Waters is one of the loudest, rowdiest, crowdiest legislators in Congress.

She is also ranked as one of the  most corrupt.

She has been put under investigation numerous times.

She has been instrumental in steering TARP money to her husband's banks.

She screamed at a jobs convocation in Inglewood -- "I think the Tea Party should go straight to hell!"

The South Los Angeles area deserves better than a screaming, race-baiting politician who plays the race card, then plays the Congress card to get everything she wants.

This lady has no business being in Congresss, and she has got to go.

To the voters in the newly drawn 43rd Congressional District, from Inglewood and South Torrance to Hawthorne and Inglewood:

Do not despair. The word is getting out. Waters may have enjoyed a safe district in the past, but as voters get smart, as the word gets, the unroyal reign of Queen Maxine will come to an end.
